Visit to JSS Ayurveda Medical College

For my second field experience, I chose our visit to JSS Ayurveda Medical College. Although it is also considered a university-established teaching hospital, it is private, and therefore many of the treatments require financial assistance and are not free of charge for citizens. Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara Medical College is a private serving institution with competitive acceptance rates and is ranked amongst the highest institutions with both undergraduate and graduate educational value by the Medical Council of India. During our visit we were mentored by Dr.Noor Fathima, who is an Ayurveda practitioner and currently training in skin aesthetics relating to Ayurveda medicine.
